THIS ARTICLE is kept as legacy. DAZ Studio 3.x (PC) and DAZ Studio 4.x support 64-bit systems and thus can use more than 4GBs of RAM if available on the system.
There is currently a known issue in DAZ Studio (up to version 220.127.116.11) when used on PCs with 4 GBs of RAM. This involves memory allocation. The following work around is recommended for users with DAZ Studio 18.104.22.168+.
